catalog_to_apparent

Convert ra/dec of stars from catalog positions (J2000/ICRS) to apparent positions, correcting for proper motion, parallax, annual and diurnal aberration.
- Parameters:
ra (array_like) – J2000 right ascension in radians.
dec (array_like) – J2000 declination in radians.
t (float or astropy.time.Time) – If float, then should correspond to GPS seconds; i.e., seconds since 1980-01-06 00:00:00 UTC
observer (Observer, optional) – Observer to use for diurnal aberration correction. If None, then no diurnal aberration correction is performed.
pmra (array_like, optional) – proper motion in right ascension / declination, in milliarcsec per year
pmdec (array_like, optional) – proper motion in right ascension / declination, in milliarcsec per year
parallax (array_like, optional) – annual parallax in arcseconds
skipAberration (bool, optional) – Don’t apply aberration correction. Mostly useful during testing…
